Is there any transitional effect as timeless as the reverse cymbal?
 
I don't think so... still amazingly useful wether they are used on their own or as part of a bigger transition. They were around before many of us... and they'll be around long after we're gone.

No big story here... one day I got sick of searching my sample libraries for good ones... so I took few hours out of my day to make my own.

You've got:

7 x Reversed Cymbals
7 x Versions Pitched down 1 full octave (because everything is cooler pitched down)
1 x Long Stretched Reversed Cymbal
1 x Long Stretched Pitched Down 1 octave (because EVERYTHING is cooler pitched down)
1 x Pitched down so far it's basically ambience.
 
So there you go.... 17 reversed acoustic cymbal samples all in one place... and one of them will work for your song.... and it's £1.
 
I mean; £1 for the convinience of having a bunch of them in one folder on your hard drive is worth it alone, right?
